As we gaze at this harvest full moon in Pisces tonight, think of what treasures have been revealed to you lately; what has yet to be fulfilled?

What will your legacy for this year be?

We live in such an abundant world and yet it is way too easy to forget all of life’s real blessings amidst all the world’s chaos.

Spend a moment or two in gratitude.

Let’s draw inspiration today from Hildegard Bingen, (Born 1098-September 17, Died 1179).

Hildegard was a Benedictine abbess, mystic, visionary, seer, healer, musician, herbalist, maker of gem elixirs, and advisor to Kings and Popes among many other things.

She was recognized as a Saint and is my kinda gal– a Goddess if there ever was one.

Although she lived a very long time ago, Hildegard’s writings, music and remedies are still treasured today. Check her out!

We will soon be ushering in the turning of the wheel again during this year’s Fall Equinox.

It’s time to plan a new altar as the Sun enters its Fall position of Libra, and give some serious thought as to what we are most grateful for and what we might need to let go of.

Of course, full moons are ripe, abundant and cause for celebration!

As we take in all that this particular harvest season has offered us, remember, a full moon has a beautiful way of illuminating what we have yet to forgive or still need to release.

We are soon to be making the transition from full, shining, and glorious bounty to the darker, quieter, more reserved underworld of deep reflection.

Let us prepare and get ready for this next season and take in all the beautiful light that is currently available.

By the light of the silvery moon…

Get outside tonight and perhaps charge up your favorite crystals and or make some moon water!

This is an excellent time for herbal craft creations.

Light a fire (safely) to toss in those written thoughts and beliefs you are ready to let go of – give them up to the night sky.

Craft a prayer, affirmation, poem, or song, and write it on a lovely card to put on your new altar.

Gather some flowers, leaves, and fruits of the season. Light incense. Burn sage.

Dance around the campfire if you dare. In other words…

Do your thing Goddess!
